One of our current projects is raising support for Christ The Rock High School in Uganda. CTR, as we've come to call it, is a very special school because it targets the many street teens that are often over looked.

When a child is orphaned it is not uncommon for a relative to take care of their nephew or neice while they are young children, but often when these children reach their teen years they are kicked out because they are thought to be able to support themselves. However this is not always the case. Many families can not afford to educate their neices and nephews, and in these situations the youth are then forced to move out with very few places to go and almost no schooling. Most turn to the streets where they find that if they sell themselves or something they stole they can provide just enough to survive. These teens, although not as cute as the wide-eyed youngsters, are in need of help just as much if not more. For this reason we have chosen to focus our efforts into building up this school/home.

Presently at CTR there is a need for a girls dorm. The projected cost of building housing fecilities for the young women is $11,000.
Along with this the school also teaching resoureces such as a library and computer and science labs. To furnish the school with a library of books will cost $8,300.
To supply the computer lab will cost $420 per computer (we would like to bless them with 10 computers for the students).
The science lab will cost $15,650 to build and supply with materials.

Additionally, other schools are also in need of support.
We would like to raise $23,000 to build a church at New Eden Primary School (in Uganda).
Also, the children's health is very important to us and for that reason we are asking for $600 a month to pay for medical expenses (doctor visits and medicine).
Lastly, both New Eden and Harvest school/home are in need of a water well. These will cost $12,000 each. It is a small price to pay for clean, disease-free water.
