Miriam Children’s Home was started in the year 1969 with two orphan children’s homes in Amalapuram, India. Many of the children that Miriam Children’s Home supports are orphans or semi-orphans from large families who suffer from poverty. Miriam Children’s Home is well know known for their services to the poor and needy by providing food, shelter, education and clothing. The children who attend Miriam Children’s Home receive an excellent Christian education. The kids are very well taken care of and loved.
Today, more than 900 children attend the two schools in Amalapuram, India. Despite many of the challenges the children face before coming to the school, Miriam Children’s Home helps them to succeeed well with good results. Many of the children continue their education all the way through college.
