“When my father died, my mother moved in order to find work but she couldn’t. I was not going to school because of money. A pastor found me and he told me about a school called Christ the Rock that helped people like me.”

Henry Kisembo [CTR 147]
From: Uganda, Africa
“I have 5 brothers and 6 sisters. My mother divorced my father and left us with him when I was still young. My father, a teacher, struggled hard to let us study at least to complete with the O’level, but, unfortunately, when I was in Senior 3, he lost his job and money became very scarce. But with God everything is possible because I was called to Christ the Rock. I thank God for Christ the Rock because they have done only good things for me. I am provided with a free education, food and even in the boarding section I don’t have to pay. I am now in Senior 6 and am completing high school this year with flying colors. Please help me to continue with further education so that I can complete high school and go on to the University. I want to become a journalist.”
